European Championships 2023  Croatia

Ten of our current and past Dublin Dodgeball players represented Ireland at the European Dodgeball Championships 2023 in Osijek, Croatia. 

• Katie Kinkaid - Selected for the Irish Womens and Mixed team

• Imelda Leahy - Selected for the Irish Womens team

• John Taaffe - Selected for the Irish Mixed team

• Luke O'Malley - Selected for the Irish Mens team

• Timothy Chua - Selected for the Irish Mens team

• Tom Eastaway - Selected for the Irish Mixed team

• Dave Cardoso - Selected for the Irish Mixed and Mens team

• Paul Coombes - Selected for the Irish Mens team

• Garvan McEvoy - Selected for the Irish Mens and Mixed team

James Van Coppenhagen was the Irish Mixed team coach

We also had some great support from Ken and Vignesh who travelled out to support their club mates and get a taste of international competition. 

Over 4 days of competition and after some tough and tightly fought games against great teams the final standings finished:

Mixed Team - 11th place

Womens Team - 14th place

Mens Team - 16th place
